A LIVING LEGACY TO ISRAEL AND YOUR NAME WILL LIVE ON
. Every
man and every woman, regardless of age, should make a Will. Every Jew should
include in it a legacy, however modest, to Israel. 5 GOLDEN RULES 1)
DON'T put off making a will. Unforeseen things can happen when a person passes
without leaving a will. 2) DO decide what provision you wish to make for your
nearest and dearest. 3) DO resolve to remember THE JEWISH NATIONAL FUND
in your will. In this way something of yours will live on forever in Israel. 4)
DO consult a lawyer and have him draw up your will. He will make sure that your
wishes will not be frustrated through oversight or error. 5) DO consult the
JNF office in Johannesburg or Cape Town for free confidential advice. Leaving
a legacy in your will is only one of the many ways in which you can become a Jewish
National Fund benefactor to ensure your family's name lives on through projects
which your bequest makes possible. Legacies to the JNF are acknowledged in
Israel with a living project dedicated in the name of the benefactor and marked
on the site with a Commemorative Plaque. Funds bequeathed to the JNF are remitted
to Jerusalem and fully applied for the purpose designated in the will. The minimum
contribution being R5, 000.00. |
